The West Essex Teaching School Alliance leads a professional learning community that believes in the value of collaborative work between schools and educational practitioners to attain high levels of achievement for our pupils.

"Makes you challenge your own practice and school expectations...." feedback from Raising Boys' Achievement CPD

Our Strategic Partners offer a range of professional development opportunities for teachers and support staff that work in schools. We work to create an integrated continuum of support, from Initial Teacher Training to Senior Leadership and beyond; educating the whole professional.

Working together

Through our Alliance we are keen to connect with other schools and individuals with the skills, capacity and willingness to work outside their own school to deliver bespoke or generic programmes; as well as coaching and peer-to-peer support.

If you are interested in working with WETSA to develop CPD across Essex, please email a.cass@st-johns-buckhursthill.essex.sch.uk to find out more, including details of our CPD committees.
